Jay-Z gave his wife, Beyoncé, a special surprise on her 45th birthday, publicly congratulating her during his concert in London.
On Friday, September 4, the 56-year-old rapper was performing in London as part of his JAŸ-Z 30 tour, when he briefly interrupted his performance to dedicate a special moment to the singer.
During a break between songs, Jay-Z asked the production team if they had a "picture" of Beyoncé to show on the stadium's giant screens. The moment the camera focused on the singer's suite, the audience erupted in cheers.
Beyoncé appeared smiling, surrounded by her friends, while with her hands she formed the characteristic symbol of Roc Nation, the entertainment and music company founded by Jay-Z.
But the surprise didn't end there.
A moment later, Jay-Z began singing "Happy Birthday," as the audience joined in. At the same moment, the sky above the stadium was lit up by a fireworks display, making the celebration a special moment for the singer.
Beyoncé, who was watching from her suite, greeted fans, blew kisses and continued to smile as she watched the fireworks in the sky. At one point, she was heard saying, "Oh my God," taken aback by the surprise.
Her mother, Tina Knowles, also publicly congratulated Beyoncé through an Instagram post, calling her eldest daughter "an extraordinary person."
"Even in all this noise, sometimes terrifying, you carry on and move forward. You create, love, support others, constantly write stories and use that genius mind of yours, working hard, seeing your work through and living your life to the fullest. Happy birthday, I love you," she wrote.
The moment between Jay-Z and Beyoncé quickly spread on social media, attracting the attention of the couple's fans.
