The deputy of Democratic Party Saimir Korreshi, has denounced the situation that he describes as scandalous in the Pediatrics ward at Lushnjė.
Through a public reaction, Korreshi published images and accusations about the conditions in which children are treated, citing humidity, dirt, and the presence of rats in the hospital premises.
"Pediatrics, the drama of every mother for her children... among humidity, feces and rats. I invite every patronage to show Europe in this pavilion. Our children do not deserve to be treated in these conditions," said the Democrat MP.
According to Korreshi, the situation at the Lushnja hospital shows the institutions' negligence towards public health and the basic conditions for treating the youngest patients.
