KOSOVO- The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has expressed his confidence that Kosovo will go to elections.

Haradinaj stressed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has no interest in electing the president.

"His unilateral action with the formation of the government shows and proves that he did not plan to elect the president. He had another opportunity when the budget was made, in which case he had the opportunity to include amendments or proposals from opposition parties," Haradinaj stressed.

Haradinaj underlined that Kurti "has not opened the Government package at all", because according to him, when you invite someone to be a partner for president, you also become a partner in the Government.

"No, maybe, we are in the election, if he wanted to elect the president, he knows how these things work, these processes, we have political experience, we have managed to elect a president several times. So he has not opened the Government's package at all, when it comes to the president, order us to come to an agreement. This is different, with the one who invites him for a partnership for president, so you become a partner in the Government as well," he said.
