Prishtina e Re has scored a victory in the 33rd week of the Albi Mall Kosovo Super League, defeating Prishtina, with a score of 3:2, in a match with a dramatic reversal.
The first half was balanced, with both teams creating chances, but the only goal came in extra time. After a handball in the area, the referee awarded a penalty to Prishtina, which Leotrim Kryeziu converted to give the team a 0:1 lead.
At the beginning of the second half, Prishtina increased their advantage. Dren Zeqiri assisted Ardian Mujë, who scored for 0:2.
However, the home team reacted quickly. Ibrahim Kargbo scored for 1:2, bringing the game back into play and increasing the intensity on the field.
The key moment of the match came after the expulsion of Arjol Bllaca, who was punished with a red card just a few minutes after being included, leaving Prishtina with one less player.
Prishtina e Re took advantage of the numerical advantage and managed to equalize the score at 2:2, after another penalty, scored by Nedim Mekic.
The upset was completed in the 77th minute, when Ibrahim Kargbo scored his second personal goal in this match, sealing the 3:2 victory for the Prishtina e Re team.
After this loss, Prishtina remains in fourth place with 45 points, but with fewer hopes of securing the position that sends them to Europe, while Prishtina e Re, with 31 points, continues to keep alive hopes, however small, for survival in the elite.
This match took place midweek because Pristina will play the Kosovo Diaspora Super Cup against Kosovo Zurich, while the other matches take place on Saturday and Sunday.
