KOSOVO- At least 109 people have been arrested in connection with suspicions of vote manipulation in the elections in the municipality of Prizren.

The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu, said that 109 people have been detained in connection with vote manipulation, while explaining that the four main parties in the country "thought they could manipulate."

Kryeziu added that the manipulation would have been impossible if there had been no compromise between the commissioners delegated by the four largest political parties. He also added that 6 people.

"Today, 4 prosecutors for serious crimes have been involved in processes and have gone to police stations and have issued 109 detention decisions. So far, we have 109 detainees for criminal offenses of falsifying results, pressure and intimidation, and giving and receiving bribes. Today, we also had witnesses and situations that showed who took bribes and from whom," he said.
