A watercraft driver has been fined 500 New Lek and his Jet Ski has been impounded after entering the security perimeter of the beach area in Ksamil.
The incident was observed during a patrol by the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit in the maritime sector near "Bar Bistro". According to the Police, the vessel had entered the area designated for the safety of vacationers, endangering people on the beach.
At the end of the administrative procedures, the vehicle was impounded, while the driver, a citizen with the initials PS, was fined 500,000 new lek.
The police appeal to boat drivers to respect safety perimeters and navigation rules, while checks along the coastline will continue with a focus on preventing incidents and ensuring the safety of vacationers.
