A landslide has been recorded in the Currilave area of Durrës, creating a risk for a building near the site of the incident.
According to preliminary information, a mass of soil and stones has broken away from the hill, falling near the building and partially covering the stairs of the palace. The event has caused concern among residents, who fear for their safety and that of their homes.
Police forces and responsible structures have arrived at the scene, assessing the situation and the level of danger. So far, no injuries have been reported, while measures to be taken to stabilize the terrain and avoid further incidents are being reviewed.
Residents are demanding swift intervention from authorities, as the area has previously faced similar landslide problems, especially during periods of intense rainfall. In the meantime, experts are expected to carry out the necessary verifications to determine whether the building has been affected by ground movements and whether there is any further risk to residents.
