The fire in Cërrilë, Mallakastra, continues to be active, where the flames have engulfed a significant area of pine trees.
4 fire engines, 30 armed forces and 20 municipal forces are intervening to extinguish the fire. The rugged terrain is making it difficult for ground forces to intervene.
Following the request for air intervention, a helicopter has also arrived in the area, which is operating to extinguish the flames.
Despite the spread of the fire, the source is located far from the residential area and so far no danger to residents has been reported.
