A large-scale fire engulfed the village of Kujtim, in the Kurdari Administrative Unit, Klos Municipality, this afternoon.

Initially, the flames appeared in several grassy areas, but then the fire got out of control. As a result, several grassy fields and fruit trees were burned, while the flames spread to a forest area near the village and are dangerously approaching homes.

Employees of the Klos Municipality, firefighters, local residents, and police services are at the scene, helping to deal with the situation.

Residents have appealed for more forces on the ground, as the fire continues to spread and the risk to homes remains high.

Meanwhile, it is initially suspected that the fire may have been intentional. Police have launched investigations to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire.
