The head of the DP parliamentary group has reacted after new audio recordings were published regarding Ron Yeffet, revealing conversations between him and foreign citizens regarding the Ministry of Energy, at the time headed by former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister Belinda Balluku.

REACTION:
"Leave the Ministry of Energy to me!"
This is no longer just a question of wiretapping. It is a big political question: who really runs the Albanian state?
If a foreign citizen, through personal connections with Edi Rama, can speak about Albanian ministries and institutions as if they were private property, then we have a scandal that requires an immediate public and legal response.
"Don't send any official letters, I'll deal with them" - such a statement shows an alarming way of exercising power: institutions that are bypassed, procedures that are replaced with phone calls, and decision-making that is allegedly done through personal and corrupt connections.
Who gave these powers? Who authorizes the interventions? And who is responsible? The answer is known: Edi Rama!
However, Albania's assets and institutions are not the property of Edi Rama, much less of his friends or clients. Albanians do not need a state where he is placed in corridors and on private phone calls. They need institutions that function according to the law, transparency and in the interest of the citizens.

Albania is nobody's property. Albanians' wealth cannot be divided among private tables. And Albanian institutions cannot be run by the Prime Minister's personal friendships.

This story demands transparency, investigation, and accountability. Immediately, without any delay!
