Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani, known as Valentino, has died at the age of 93.
According to a statement released on Instagram by the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation, Valentino passed away peacefully at his home in Rome, surrounded by his family.
The foundation announced that tributes in honor of the designer will take place in Piazza Mignanelli on January 21 and 22. Then, the funeral service will be held the following day at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs in the Italian capital.
