A minor altercation between two students at the "Dom Nikollë Kaçorri" school in Durrës turned into a tragic incident. A 15-year-old was stabbed by a classmate, simply because he asked for clarification about the insulting words he had heard from him.
A phone call to clarify a misunderstanding turned into dark moments when, in front of the school, a single shot hit his heart. Doctors saved him by removing him from the intubation, but the 15-year-old's health condition remains critical and he is still under intensive monitoring.
His family is in shock. A father searching for answers and a mother grateful for her son's every breath. The school community remains shocked by the violence among the children.
Today, the 15-year-old's father gave his testimony on the show "With an Open Heart", hosted by moderator and author Evis Ahmeti, where he shared details from the incident and the boy's condition. "We have come out of the dangerous situation. We are waiting for the brain's reaction and then to come out of intubation. Then we will see damage to the heart or brain. These are health issues and I don't know what to explain in detail. But this is what the heart doctor says. The parameters are optimal. We have a low-level problem, but a good trajectory. We will see the boy's reactions, we will see within two days at the most.
The woman is in a bad state, sometimes she cries, sometimes she holds her own, but our faith in God holds us. They have argued and cursed each other on TikTok for protagonism. We leave the rest to the state," he said.
