National team striker Myrto Uzuni has appeared in his usual press conference ahead of the friendly matches against Israel and Luxembourg. He spoke about the new coach, the team's goals and the fact that he had a good offer from a club in January, but it fell through at the last moment.

Normally I have a contract with the Austin team, I had a very good offer in January and it was almost closed as a transfer, but in the last moments it broke down because the Austin club also didn't have much inflow into the team.
Naturally, everyone wants to show themselves, all the players have quality, all can play as starters in the National team, because they are the best players in Albania. First of all, I wish a lot of success to coach Silvinjo, we have had success with that coach. If we talk about the new coach, his strikers have scored a lot of goals in other teams and I hope the same thing happens here with us.
"When you play for the National team, you normally have goals because you play for the nation and we want to come out on top in the Nations League and qualify for the European Championship, these are the goals that push us forward. If a player does not have the hunger or desire to play in the European Championship or to win, then he is not welcome in the National team," declared Myrto Uzuni.
