DP leader Sali Berisha, at a meeting held with citizens in unit 4 in Tirana, declared that the overthrow of the government is the main priority.

Berisha argued that it is important for citizens to prepare for continued resistance. The main goal, Berisha said, is peaceful revolt.

"We are a party that has used various forms of protests. In this state of the country, our goal is to overthrow this government that is standing by theft. In my opinion, this requires us to be prepared for sustainable protests. We have tried it... The one who was there left in Macedonia. But that is not the goal, the goal is power by vote. We take power by vote. He will steal it 20 more times if we let him be in charge. What is needed? We must hold the boulevard until he leaves. We must prepare ourselves with bread, to return... We are missionaries. I guarantee you that he will leave, but not by violence," said the leader of the DP.
