There are people who go through life and leave behind memories. There are also people who leave traces. Leze Rrika was one of them.

After a battle with a serious illness, the dedicated teacher, choreographer, dancer, and education leader, a well-known and respected name not only in Žeja, but throughout Kurbin, has passed away.

For decades, she dedicated herself to education, educating entire generations of students. For her, school was not simply an institution where knowledge was imparted, but a place where the citizens of tomorrow were formed.

As the principal of the 9-year-old school in Zheja, she worked with passion, dedication, and responsibility, becoming an example for her colleagues and a beloved figure for her students.

But Leze Rrika didn't live only for education.
She dedicated a large part of her life to preserving tradition. As part of the Kurbin Ensemble, she distinguished herself as a dancer and choreographer, turning folk art into a vital mission.

One of the works that will remain long in the community's memory is "Zhejës' Wedding", an activity that brought together more than 100 dancers and brought back to life the customs, songs, dances, and traditional clothing of this region.

She understood that tradition is not simply a memory of the past, but a treasure that must be passed on to generations.

Today, Kurbini loses a dedicated teacher, a talented artist, and a woman who loved her country with all her heart. But people like Leze Rrika never go away completely.

She will continue to live on in the memories of the students she educated, in the hearts of the colleagues she worked with, in the steps of the dancers she led, and in the traditions she kept alive with so much love.

Because a teacher's work is not measured by years of service, but by the mark she leaves on people.
And Leze Rrika left an indelible mark.
