Lezha Police have provided details regarding the attack in Lezha. The 30-year-old Sokol Daci was injured. In the official announcement, the police explain that police officer Besart Kovaçi, resident of the village of Dragushë, Dajç Administrative Unit, Lezha Municipality, is suspected of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty".
Meanwhile, after intensive investigations, it has emerged that four citizens have been identified as suspects in this incident and are wanted.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Lezha, in charge of citizens GN, EN, KN and MN, suspected of the criminal offenses "Intentional murder, attempted" and "Unauthorized possession of firearms and ammunition and explosives", as well as in charge of citizen Besart Kovaçi, suspected of the criminal offense "Abuse of office".
