Four people, three men and a woman, have carried out an open robbery at a luxury store in a shopping mall in New York state, taking more than a dozen expensive handbags.

The incident took place on April 16 at a Gucci store at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, where the suspect group forced their way in and immediately began smashing display cases near the entrance. They reportedly took about $30,000 worth of bags and quickly removed security sensors before leaving.

Store employees were left shocked as the robbery unfolded, while several customers tried to intervene unsuccessfully. Security footage shows the moments when bags are scattered on the floor and the robbers hastily gather them up before fleeing.

According to authorities, the suspects fled in a white rented SUV and were briefly pursued by police in the Newark area, but the pursuit was called off for safety reasons. They then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

Police in New York City and surrounding states are searching for the group, and it is suspected that they may be involved in other robberies in the region. Notably, the female suspect has several outstanding arrest warrants for previous robberies.

All four people remain at large, while investigations are continuing in several countries simultaneously.
