Liverpool have resolved their coaching issue. The Reds, following the departure of Slot, have signed Andoni Iraola on a two-year contract.

"I'm very excited, very excited. Because of course you know about Liverpool, you know it's a big club, a giant club, one of the biggest in the world. But, feeling inside myself and understanding this club a little bit more, I've always thought it's a special club. You don't need a lot of things to be attracted to Liverpool. Liverpool is Liverpool.

"But definitely the atmosphere, the supporters, the club, the players, the opportunity for me to coach high-level players, the opportunity to fight for titles. I think it can't be more attractive than that. It's hard to find. So, I'm really excited to get started," Iraola said.
