Ibrahima Konate could continue to stay at Liverpool. In a recent interview, the defender said he is close to signing a new contract with The Reds.
"We have spoken to the club and we are close to an agreement. I think everyone has wanted this for as long as possible, but we are on a good path... we are doing it," said Konate. This season, he has played 31 games. For him, this is the fifth edition at Liverpool. In the home of the English giants there are some open issues, which are waiting for solutions.
