During this experience, the student was exposed to a high-standard academic environment, where theory was combined with practice through the analysis of real cases. The teaching methodology at LSE, focused on the development of critical thinking, argumentation and analytical skills, contributed to the expansion of her professional and academic formation.

To participate in this prestigious program, Sara Putec applied through an online selection process and was awarded a full scholarship, which enabled her to attend the Summer School at LSE. The program also included student accommodation and various academic and cultural activities.

Beyond the classroom, the experience in London gave Sara the opportunity to be part of an international student community, collaborating and exchanging ideas with young people from different countries around the world. Visits to important financial centers, historical monuments, cultural activities, as well as trips to cities such as Oxford, Cambridge and Windsor, were part of an experience that combined academic development with the knowledge of British culture.

Speaking about this experience, Sara Putec particularly praised the quality of teaching and the professional level of LSE lecturers, emphasizing that the university's academic approach is based on building reasoning, analysis, and the ability to argue, preparing students for the challenges of the international job market.

My participation in the LSE Summer School 2026 was one of the most important and enriching experiences of my academic journey. As a student of the Bachelor’s program in Finance at Luarasi University, developed under the academic guidance of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), I had the privilege of studying for three weeks at one of the most prestigious universities in the world in the field of economics and finance. During this period, I attended the course “Financial Statement Analysis for Investment Banking and Asset Management”, which enabled me to deepen my knowledge in the statistical analysis of financial data and the use of quantitative methods in financial decision-making. The program was characterized by high academic standards, contemporary teaching methodologies and an approach that combined theory with practical application through the analysis of real cases, helping me to further develop my analytical skills, critical thinking and professional approach to the challenges of modern finance.

To participate in this program, it is necessary to make an online application, where each student selects the program they want to follow during the summer school, and submits all the necessary documents for registration. I had the opportunity to have a full scholarship to follow the program. During the summer school, students have accommodation provided as well as a full breakfast on the LSE premises.

In addition to academic training, it is an experience that also introduces you to the history and culture of London and the United Kingdom. Participating students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, such as: visits to some of the most important attractions in London in the field of finance, to visit historical and cultural monuments; to participate in theatrical performances, ballet, etc. Also, every weekend, trips are organized to other cities, such as: Oxford, Cambridge, Windsor, etc. So, it is a program that aims to train students academically, and at the same time encourages them to explore, and enjoy their time.

One of the most valuable aspects of this experience was the opportunity to be part of a truly international community. In the classroom and at activities organized by LSE, I had the opportunity to collaborate with students from different countries of the world, to exchange ideas, experiences and cultures, as well as to create connections that go beyond the classroom. This multicultural environment helped me to understand the importance of international cooperation, to further develop my communication and adaptation skills, and to gain a broader perspective on the global economy and finance. I believe that these experiences are as important as academic knowledge, as they prepare students to be part of an increasingly international and competitive job market.

This opportunity would not have been possible without the continued support of Luarasi University. The University not only offers a study program of international standards, developed under the academic guidance of the London School of Economics, but also encourages and supports students to participate in prestigious international programs that enrich their academic and professional formation. Through the guidance, information and opportunities it creates, Luarasi University gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves in world-renowned institutions, broaden their horizons and build a competitive profile at an international level.
The teaching methodology is very good because it relies on critical thinking and not memorization. The teachers are of a very high level and very dignified. They possess both a very good academic background and pedagogical skills and they care and support us a lot in our studies. I have the same appreciation for the administrative staff. This is very rare not only in Albania but also abroad.

Being an LSE student means being able to build reasoning and position yourself based on arguments. Aspire to become a highly accomplished professional after your studies with the potential for a very successful career.

For me, this experience was proof that quality education is not limited to classrooms, but is also enriched through international experiences, collaboration with students and professors from different countries, and exposure to the most contemporary teaching methods. It has given me more self-confidence, motivated me to set even more ambitious goals, and strengthened my conviction that I have chosen the right professional path.
I am grateful to Luarasi University for its support and commitment in creating these opportunities, which provide students not only with academic knowledge, but also with valuable international experiences that prepare them for the challenges of the future. I believe that such collaborations are an added value for every student and a testament to Luarasi University's commitment to providing a modern, quality education oriented towards the highest international standards.
