Through a status on "Facebook", Luciano Boçi responded to the statements made by Arbjan Mazniku, who said that 'the opposition had requested that the hearings be held only in the Assembly'.

Boçi has rejected these statements, saying that they are untrue and that the DP deputies on the Commission requested hearings open to the public, in every region and municipality.

I was surprised to read the blatant lie written by Mr. Mazniku, according to which the DP requested hearings only in the Assembly and not in the field.

I don't understand how it could have gotten this far, when the meeting was broadcast and online.

The truth is that the DP deputies on the committee requested open hearings in each specific Region and Municipality.

I emphasize OPEN to the public with free participation, and not CLOSED in the Municipal offices with only municipal officials as the SP deputies insisted and had planned.

For us, hearings with communities according to the requests they have presented to us prevail, while the majority did not reflect this will.

These are the real 'territory' of the DP, not the offices of the SP Municipalities.

At the same time, we requested the summoning of all mayors and political representatives in Municipal Councils to hearings in the Commission, which should open with a hearing with the Minister of Local Government.

The opposition of the DP deputies was to the lunches and dinners planned by the SP after the end of the parades-hearings in the offices of the Municipalities and regions.

This is the truth, which knows well that lies run faster with their short legs, but whoever loves the truth should listen to the meeting recorded on the Assembly's website.
