"Bashkë" Movement MP Redi Muçi delivered a harsh speech in Parliament, where he referred to the recent protests and accused the government of attempting to suppress civic opposition.

"I never thought this day would come, amidst the protests, the World Cup, Kanye West, Rama and Balla, who counts the protesters with binoculars, as he used to do with Berisha's rostrum," said Muçi. The MP said that the old politics is facing a new generation of citizens, who, according to him, know how to organize themselves and use social networks better.

Referring to the protest of the previous day, Muçi said that it proved that the civic movement is not a temporary reaction. He warned that any attempt to surround with barbed wire the areas where, according to him, the interests of citizens are affected, will be met with resistance. At the end of his speech, the MP addressed his colleagues in the Assembly with an appeal for their resignation.

"I never thought this day would come, amidst the protests, the World Cup, Kanye West, Rama and Balla, who counts the protesters with binoculars like he did with Berisha's podium. Every time you analyze the old trenches, you are dealing with young people who knew how to use social networks better than you. Yesterday coincided with the World Cup and this showed that their work kicked in on you. I am not talking about Messi, but about those woodcutters who continued with wood even after the match. Yesterday, the 50th day, showed that this is not a sprint, but a clear marathon. Thanks to it, we will make it possible to thwart Rama's diabolical plans. If during August, you will surround and lay barbed wire in the lands of Albanians, you will face the citizens. If you surround Albania with barbed wire, the protests will come to your attention until Rama resigns. You as MPs have "One week to end this mandate with honor, to be the first to resign," said Redi Muçi.
