An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck Kosovo on Tuesday evening.
According to seismological data, the tremor was recorded at 22:05, at a depth of about 10 kilometers, with an epicenter in the Shtërpcë area.
The earthquake was felt across most of the country.
For now, there are no reports of material damage.
Kosovo seismologist Shemsi Mustafa wrote on Facebook that the magnitude of the earthquake had the potential to pose a risk to citizens.
"This seismicity had the potential to endanger citizens and cause some material damage, due to its great force," he said.
