A serious incident has shaken the Mystras area in Greece, where the body of a 90-year-old man was found hidden inside a commercial refrigerator in the basement of his apartment.
The incident was discovered after authorities received information about the elderly man's absence and launched an investigation. During the checks, police discovered the 90-year-old's body placed inside a large refrigerator.
A forensic pathologist arrived at the scene and, based on the initial examination, found no visible signs of violence on the victim's body. The exact cause of death is expected to be determined after a full autopsy is performed.
As part of the investigation, police accompanied and then arrested the victim's 55-year-old son. According to preliminary information, he is suspected of having told authorities that his father had died of natural causes.
