A serious incident has shaken the city of Pograadec today, where a man stabbed his wife in their apartment in neighborhood No. 4.
It is suspected that the couple had a momentary conflict and the husband took the knife, injuring his wife.
According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the man suffers from mental health problems. The woman has been taken to the Pogradec hospital where she is receiving medical assistance and will be flown to Tirana for more specialized treatment, but so far there is no danger to her life.
The perpetrator has been escorted by the Pogradec police to the police station. In the meantime, the investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

At around 13:30 p.m., in neighborhood no. 4, Pogradec, citizen R. Xh., 30 years old, is suspected of having injured his wife, citizen B. Xh., 28 years old, with a cutting tool (knife) during a conflict in the apartment, who is receiving treatment in the hospital.

The 30-year-old has been escorted to the Pogradec Police Station and procedural actions are being carried out.
