A serious incident occurred in Fier where a 47-year-old man lost his life after attempting to rob an apartment and becoming trapped in the window.
The brother of the owner of the apartment building, in a statement to News24, has indicated that he did not know the young man, who still remains unidentified. He said that at the moment he was found, the victim was masked with a hood and gloves.
"My brother went to Greece a month ago to spend Easter with the children. I was here two days ago and there was nothing. When the neighbor came this morning, he saw a person in the window and notified the police. The police did the verifications. He had come, broken the glass, had come to rob but while trying to get out he got stuck in the glass and lost his life. The police asked me and I did not recognize him, he was wearing gloves and a hood, but he did not have any identity card with him to identify him," he said.
