Ema Ndoja, the famous actress of the late 80s, stood out among the participants in the recent protest held in Tirana.

Having moved to Germany for years, away from media attention, Ndoja remains one of the most beloved figures in Albanian cinema.

The interest in her presence is also heightened by her political past; in 2013, she was known as a supporter of Edi Rama when he was in opposition. However, her current presence on the scene shows that changing political beliefs and paths comes naturally when principles and a vision for the country are broken.

The actress's presence at the protest is appreciated as one more voice in the civic movement that demands dignity and meritocracy, proving that public causes transcend party affiliations and remain, above all, a civic right.
