Serious fire situation in Mallakastër, where flames have spread rapidly and have endangered homes in the village of Koilac. Due to the advancement of the fire, the Police services have intervened to evacuate several families from the endangered area. Officers from the Mallakastër Police Commissariat, the services of the Fier Local Police Directorate, firefighters, the National Security Forces, civil emergency structures and other teams engaged in coping with the situation have been engaged on the ground.

Strong winds are favoring the spread of the flames towards residential areas. So far, the fire has caused significant damage to the vegetation, while the risk to homes and properties remains high. The flames are spreading towards Hekal, Panahor, Ribani and Ngracan, while the operation to isolate and extinguish the fires continues.
