A fire has engulfed a forest area in the territory of the Vau Dejës municipality, endangering several nearby homes. The fire has broken out in a place called Vau Dejës Lake.
Vau Dejës firefighters are there "fighting" the flames to extinguish them, while firefighters and officers from Shkodra have also arrived to help.
Also, due to the dangerous situation, assistance has been requested from other border municipalities.
The situation is serious and firefighters, along with local residents, are trying to extinguish the flames and bring them under control, but intervention remains difficult.
