After the open lecture held at the Luarasi University for the lecturers and students of Dentistry, the “Style Italiano Endodontics” group held a scientific conference, where they presented findings and innovations in the field of endodontics. The co-founder of “Style Italiano Endodontics”, Fabio Gorni spoke about the importance of knowledge, innovation and the strategy that must be followed to achieve good results in patients and demonstrated through a live-demo the latest techniques of surgical endodontics.
“This is the first time for me to come to Albania, but also for Style Italiano Endodontcs, which is the most important community in the world and has more than half a million people. We are trying to provide knowledge about Endo to many countries in the world. In reality we are a university for many people who can learn in their country the principles of Endo.”
Francesca Cerruti stated that this conference will serve endodontic professionals to learn new treatment techniques for patients.
“Style Italiono Endodontics” was founded with the aim of sharing knowledge and doing education, in order to make every endo procedure visible, learnable and repeatable, which is very important, because Fabio can do amazing things and is the only person in the world who can do them. So, we want to make things easier and repeatable for everyone. Our goal here is to share what we have learned, our experiences, in order to make it easier for others to follow in our footsteps.”
This conference was organized by Masters of Dentistry and Assoc. Prof. Almira Isufi, collaborators at Luarasi University, who said that this is an important step towards the internationalization of dental education in Albania, bringing for the first time the concept of “Style Italiano Endodontics” to the country, an excellent opportunity for faculty and students.
Students as tomorrow's professionals asked questions to three Italian lecturers, thus confirming the role of Luarasi University as a center of innovation and professional development in higher education.
