With banners in their hands and calls against the government, citizens and activists gathered in a protest demanding the cancellation of the project in Zvërnec.
Participants also called for the repeal of the Mountains Package.
Among the banners held by the protesters were messages related to the murder of police officer Enea Mekolli, for whom a minute of silence was held.
The protest took place in the pedestrian area of the city of Korça, which was filled with citizens. They also called for mass protests in the coming days.
"Blessed be the drop that fills the glass" and "You burn youth, today youth burns you!" were some of the banners held by citizens.
