The US Embassy in Tirana has distributed an informational message to American citizens, urging them to stay informed and safe, referring to tensions in the Middle East.
In its announcement, the embassy advises that American citizens register with the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), through the official website step.state.gov, in order to receive updates and security notifications directly from the diplomatic representation of American embassies.
According to the embassy, registering for this program helps American citizens receive important information in real time and makes it easier for the embassy to contact its citizens in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.
