Kuwait's Fire Department announced on Tuesday that Iranian attacks have caused fires in two different areas of the country, injuring several firefighters and one worker. In a statement published on Platform X, authorities said emergency teams immediately intervened to extinguish the flames caused by the attacks. According to them, several firefighters and one worker were injured during the initial rescue operation, who were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

Earlier, Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that a second power generation and water desalination plant had been hit by an Iranian attack. The attack caused a fire in one of the plant's sectors, forcing authorities to suspend the operation of some units as a safety measure.

The ministry said the attack was part of what it called “Iranian aggression” against the country’s strategic infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Kuwait National Oil Corporation announced that another oil industry facility was hit by repeated attacks, causing injuries and significant material damage. The facility was immediately evacuated, while the injured received medical assistance, according to the state-run KUNA news agency.


Meanwhile, the Iranian military said it had carried out attacks on military targets in Kuwait and Jordan, calling them a response to US bombings on Iranian territory. According to Iranian state television, the targets were the Al-Udairi and Ali Al-Salem military bases in Kuwait, as well as the Al-Azraq air base in eastern Jordan.
