Miley Cyrus is joining the list of people with unusual fears. The singer has revealed that she doesn't like paper. The pop star told Jimmy Kimmel that she has a real "phobia" and that she "needs help." The singer told viewers about her "Christmas problem," a fear of gift wrapping.
The 33-year-old said that even the paper on Kimmel's desk made her "feel like throwing up," and his book "was torturing her." Cyrus made several faces of disgust describing another "problem she has with paper," people "with dry hands touching it." She confessed that she throws away "beautiful papers" without opening them because she can't stand them and prefers to communicate with them via text, phone call, or email.
Further adding that cigarette papers are "good" and tablets "have solved a lot of reading problems" for her, she expressed indignation at Amazon's deliveries.
Miley said the cardboard is "very dry" and has more "paper in it," joking that one of the reasons she got engaged to Maxx Morando is because he opens all the packages outside the house. When Kimmel asked if she would sign the marriage certificate, she recalled her first marriage to ex, Liam Hemsworth. "I think I remember the paper was wax, but I smoked an imaginary marijuana joint. I don't remember. I'm not sure," she said.
The singer said she's trying to get over it, but she needs help. "There needs to be some kind of intervention and I'm going to try... maybe EDMR or hypnosis because it's affecting my daily life." EDMR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, which she's used before to overcome stage fright.
