Finland suspects that a plane has violated its airspace. As a result, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Russian ambassador, demanding an explanation regarding the situation.
It was suspected that the military plane was avoiding a storm. A few days ago, Russia announced that it would launch a systematic wave of attacks on Ukraine. In doing so, it called on all foreign citizens and diplomats to leave Kiev.
"Finland has summoned the Russian ambassador today. We strongly condemn Russia's illegal threats and brutal attacks against civilians in Ukraine and its campaign of intimidation that is urging the staff of European embassies to leave Kiev. Russia will not dictate Europe's presence in Ukraine," the response reads.
