The father of Minister Adea Pirdeni has died in hospital after being hit by a motorbike while riding his bicycle. The accident occurred around 12:00 today on "Bardhyl" Street in Tirana.
As a result of the accident, 87-year-old Luan Pirdeni suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, but unfortunately he was unable to survive.
Meanwhile, the police have also arrested the driver of the motorcycle, 31-year-old Sejdi Milla.

Traffic specialists arrested citizen SM, 31 years old, after at the intersection of "Bardhyl" street and "Kongresi i Manastirit" street, while driving his motorcycle, he collided with the bicycle on which citizen LP, 87 years old, was riding.
As a result of the accident, the 87-year-old man died in hospital.
The investigative team continues work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
