The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, during the inspection at the Vora Multifunctional Center, held a conversation with young people as part of the activity "Youth on the Move - the Power to Influence", where 25 young people are active in the center's programs, engaging in services and volunteer work in support of the local community.
Minister Sala praised the cooperation between the government, local authorities and international partners in creating such spaces, which enable the provision of integrated social services through the Social Fund mechanism.

"I am truly pleased to be visiting this multifunctional center here in Vora. It is an excellent example of cooperation between the government, local authorities and of course international institutions that continuously help us through the Social Fund mechanism. It is a fact that through volunteerism as we see here, but also this very strong cooperation, around 47 thousand people have received assistance and 98 services have been provided", said the minister. Appreciating the importance of volunteer engagement, Minister Sala emphasized that this model should be expanded throughout Albania, while congratulating the young people for their contribution and encouraging them to continue this commitment as a civic and humane value in the service of the community.

"We need to expand this model further throughout Albania. The help you give to people in need is sublime, irreplaceable help. I also speak from the perspective of my profession, since I am a doctor and I am more connected to humanism towards patients. But what you are doing is very beautiful. Keep doing it because society needs it, Albania needs this energy, this creativity, but also this positive approach towards each other and towards Albanian society", emphasized Minister Sala.

The activity “Youth on the move – the power to influence” comes as a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the Municipality of Vora, local civil society organizations with expertise in the field and the National Association for Life Education (SHKEJ), as part of the EU4SocialCare program and focuses on empowering young people through active inclusion in social life, promoting volunteerism and developing skills for community engagement. The Multifunctional Center represents an innovative and sustainable model of social care, providing psychosocial, educational and developmental support for children, young people, mothers and families in need, where they currently receive services for around 220 children, 125 young people and 78 parents.
