The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, will participate in the first Albania-Italy Intergovernmental Summit, where the Albanian delegation is headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During the day, Spiropali will also hold a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.
This intergovernmental summit represents an important moment for the consolidation of bilateral cooperation in key areas such as defense and security, energy, migration, health, economic and infrastructural development, as well as for the preparation of joint projects to advance the Albania-Italy strategic partnership.
Minister Spiropali will emphasize the importance of bilateral cooperation in the face of global security challenges and will reconfirm Albania's commitment to advancing cooperation with Italy in priority areas of strategic partnership.
During today's meeting, Minister Spiropali will sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Cybersecurity with her counterpart Antonio Tajani.
