The economic advisor of the Democratic Party of Albania, Dorian Teliti, has ironically made a comparison between two photos. In one photo, there are firefighters at the burned-out building of 'Pharmacy 10' in Tirana, with insufficient water pressure, and in the other photo, the modern armored vehicles of the State Police, with water cannons with ten times higher pressure, lined up against the protesters and the opposition. The message is clear and piercing: The Albanian state has the technology. It has the water pressure. It has the investment. But it has bought it and keeps it not to put out the fire on the citizen's head, but to extinguish his voice in the street.

Dorian Teliti's reaction:

Look at these two photos. This is the image of a state that has lost its way. In one photo, we see our heroic firefighters fighting the flames at 'Pharmacy 10' with vehicles that are thirsty for pressurized water and outdated technology. A total helplessness to protect the life and property of the citizen with the taxes he pays every day. In the other photo, we see the brutal and unlawful force of the Government Police: modern armored vehicles with a water pressure 10 times more powerful, used to hit citizens, the opposition and to suppress free speech. Not just political, but existential questions: Why does the government-state invest hundreds of millions of euros to shut us up, but spare every penny when it is needed to save our lives? The government-state's answer is clear: 'The safety of the chair is worth much more than the safety of the citizen and his property'. So open your eyes, Albanians, stand up, protest, react.
