The state police have reacted after the statement of the DP MP, Flamur Noka, that the police used tear gas to disperse the protesters.
In an official statement, the police say that Molotov cocktails were thrown during the protest, injuring several police officers.
"We appeal for a halt to attacks on the police and distancing from violent individuals," the police statement said.
