Important changes have been made in the management structures of the State Police, by order of the General Director, Skënder Hita.
According to recent decisions, several deputy directors have been moved to local police directorates, mainly affecting Tirana, but also other regions such as Shkodra, Lezha and Fieri.
Besmir Dervishi has been removed from his post as deputy director in Tirana and appointed as head of crimes in Kukes. Oliger Torba, who previously held the position of deputy director in Fier, has been appointed in his place.
Meanwhile, Hita has appointed Alban Dautaj to head the Operational Directorate, a position he takes on after previously heading the Anti-Terror structure.
Following the changes, Ermal Kënaçi was removed from the position of Chief of Police Station No. 2 in Tirana and transferred to Kukës.
Likewise, Gent Ndoj, who held the position of Director for Financial Crime Investigation at the General Directorate, has been transferred to Debar.
Meanwhile, Edmond Sula has been appointed head of the Anti-Terror structure, replacing Alban Dautaj.
