At the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, activist Luçiana Kokaj referred to the figure of Musine Kokalari, on the anniversary of her death, describing her story as an example of resistance and courage in the face of power.
Kokaj said that Musine Kokalari proved that even a single person can stand against injustice and defend their beliefs.
"Today is the anniversary of Musine Kokalari's death. She taught us that perseverance is the most precious virtue. Musine Kokalari's story shows us the opposite: a person can be alone and still be right," she said.
The activist emphasized that Albania and its assets should not be treated as if they were for sale, citing Rrjoll, Zvërnec and Lura as symbols of the country's heritage and wealth.
"When we talk about Albania, we are not just talking about a piece of land. Should Albanians retreat in the face of power? Albania is not for sale. Rrjolli, Zvërnec, Lura, our dignity is not for sale," said Kokaj.
She concluded her speech with an appeal for justice, transparency and respect for the law, emphasizing that the protest does not aim for violence.
"Musine taught us a great lesson: dictatorship is maintained even by those who remain silent. We are not here for violence, but to demand justice, transparency and the law," the activist declared.
