The difficult story that has affected a family and shocked public opinion, and became part of the show "With an Open Heart" today on News24 by moderator and author, Evis Ahmeti.

After the aunt's touching story about her niece, who shared with the public her long and painful battle for the young woman, today the 52-year-old was in the studio, appealing for help.

With concern and pain, the aunt brought her perspective on the event, shedding light on other details and seeking concrete solutions for the future of her niece and her father, who both have mental health problems.

"I left Albania when I was 19 years old. I left Durrës by ship for Italy. There I met someone, he was married, but he promised me a better life. When I went to Italy, I wanted to go back, but he wouldn't let me. After 3 months I got pregnant and gave birth when I was 7 months old. He abused me a lot. 20 days after I gave birth to my son, he abandoned me. He returned to his family in Albania. He didn't want the son, he wanted to sell him. I then took refuge with nuns and raised the son. When I came to Albania, I came for my mother. But when she died, I left and looked after my own business, as they wanted me for money. My brothers would sit in cafes and drink. I didn't know what was happening to my brother's life. I saw him years ago when I came to Durrës on vacation with my husband. I saw him at the bus station. I asked him if it was him and he said yes. He cried when I told him met. He was begging. They live with their daughter in a building on the 6th floor without electricity or water for almost 20 years. I don't know how they do it, but they stay without washing. Sometimes the neighbor connects a little water. But he doesn't give them water all the time. He says they smell. The smell can be felt on the first floor of the building, how they want to live there. I wanted to take them somewhere to an association, to have the state take them in. But so far nothing has been done. They continue to abuse the daughter. She stays in nightclubs, until the early hours of the morning. She does this every day. She also got pregnant a few years ago. Her mother also confirmed it," said the aunt.
