Jose Mourinho considers Jude Bellingham to be England's "superhero" and has called for a clear tactical plan to transform him into a key player for Real Madrid. Following his appointment as Real Madrid's new coach, the Portuguese coach has heaped praise on the midfielder, especially after his impressive performances at the 2026 World Cup.
Mou made the rounds of the net with one of his iconic phrases about the player: "Bellingham is England's superhero. He has scored the same number of goals in the World Cup as Pelé at the same age. Midfielders control matches, Jude controls gravity", said the Portuguese. According to Spanish media such as 'MARCA', the 'Special One' has personally spoken with the player and has projected his role for the new 2026–2027 season.
Mourinho wants to implement a 4-2-3-1 formation at Real, where Bellingham will play as an advanced playmaker, more or less a 'number 10' with complete freedom behind Mbappe. The idea is for him to play as close to the opposition's box as possible to make the most of his physicality and his sense of goal, similar to the role he played on his debut at Madrid and the one he currently plays for England.
