A serious incident was made public a short time ago, regarding a 17-year-old girl in Fier who was raped by two 15-year-olds and a 20-year-old.
In an interview for the show "With an Open Heart", by author and moderator Evis Ahmeti, the mother of one of the 15-year-olds, said that the family had long noticed serious problems in the girl's behavior and emotional state, but did not have the financial means to provide her with the necessary treatment.
"We learned about the incident when the police called us. We went to the police station, the girl was there and we gave our statements. The police called us on June 9. They only told us that he had hit the girl a little, we didn't know anything more," she said.
According to the mother, the daughter had not told her anything about the incident and continued to go outside freely, without showing any fear.
"She would stay out until 12:00 or 02:30 at night. She would tell me she was going out with her friends, but I didn't know them. I would ask her not to go out at night, but she wouldn't listen to me," she said.
The mother claims that the daughter was a victim of bullying at school and that she had also exercised violence against her parents.
"The girl was bullied a lot at school. She raped me and my husband. She even reported her husband for domestic violence, but this did not happen," she declared.
She added that the family had sought help in November, after realizing that the girl's condition was not good, but due to economic difficulties, they had not been able to provide the necessary treatment.
At the end of the interview, the mother publicly apologized to the 17-year-old victim and her family.
"I apologize profusely to the 17-year-old and her family. I am a mother myself. For my daughter, I only want her to recover and I call on the institutions to ensure her full treatment," she said.
