The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 105-95 in the first NBA playoff final. Although the game was played in Texas, the Spurs' home city, it was the visiting team that dominated and came away with a significant victory.
Although the home team started the game better, leading by as much as 14 points, they were unable to win the game. New York managed to recover in the second half of the game thanks to 30 points from Jalen Brunson. Towns also performed well with 18 points and 12 rebounds, as did Anunoby with 17 points.
For San Antonio, the usual Victor Wenbanyama stood out with 26 points and 12 rebounds, but that wasn't enough. The second final game will be played in two days on the Texan team's field and the series will now move to the East.
