In the East, New York defeated Boston 112-106, a matchup between two teams playing for second place. The Hart-Brunson duo scored 51 points for New York. Toronto defeated Miami 128-114, a challenge in which Brandon Ingram shone, author of 38 points.
Chicago also won away from home, winning 119-108 at Washington, a statistical victory. Tre Jones stood out for the Bulls, scoring 31 points. Indiana's victory, outside the playoff zone, was also of little value, defeating Brooklyn 123-94 (Obi Toppin scored 26 points).
