Giannis Antetokounmpo will be transferred from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat. The news is not yet official, but the Greek star, two-time NBA regular season MVP, is making the sensational transfer. The 31-year-old, who won another title with the Bucks in 2021, has decided to start a new adventure in the NBA.

A transfer that significantly changes the balance in the Eastern Conference, while other basketball players will also be involved in this transfer. In exchange, the Miami Heat are exchanging Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round draft picks, including the No. 13 pick in 2026, a future pick swap, and a second-round pick.

Also coming to Miami is Bobby Portis, the former Sixth Player of the Year. The trade will become official on July 6 and could extend to other teams in the meantime. The gist will remain the same: the two-time MVP is the new star of the Heat, who have beaten off competition from the Boston Celtics.
