An extraordinary success for Albanian sports comes from China, where athlete Naim Samiu, coach of the Wolf Kickboxing club, has achieved one of the most important results of his career, being declared world champion in two disciplines.
Sami has triumphed in the +90 kilogram category, winning the world champion title in both K-1 and K-1 Light Contact. An achievement that takes on even more value due to the fact that it came after several strong fights and a difficult journey to the finals of the competition.
In the Sanya ring, Naim Samiu proudly represented Albania and the Wolf Kickboxing club, giving his best in every fight. With determination, dedication and confidence, he managed to overcome one opponent after another and secure a place in the finals.
Two finals, two triumphs, two world titles
The end result was spectacular: two world championship titles in a single competition.
In the K-1 +90 kg category, Sami managed to climb to the top of the podium, while he repeated the success in the K-1 Light Contact +90 kg, completing an extraordinary performance.

After this great success, Naim Samiu did not hide his excitement and pride for what he achieved in Sanya, China.
"I feel extremely proud that in Sanya, China, I managed to be declared world champion in two disciplines: K-1 and K-1 Light Contact. After several strong fights until the final, with God's help I achieved victory and raised the red and black flag on top of the world", said Samiu.
His words best reflect the importance of this moment. Beyond the two medals and two world titles, at the heart of this success lies the pride of representing Albania on a major international stage.
