Netflix actor José de la Torre has died at the age of 37, a few months after informing fans that he was suffering from a serious illness.
The actor known for his attractive appearance played the role of Iván in the Spanish series 'Toy Boy', a thriller where his 'stripper' character is imprisoned for a murder he did not commit.
José, from the Spanish province of Córdoba, previously worked as a model for fashion and jewelry companies.
Today's reports announced that he died on December 5th and the funeral was held a day later.
The actor had been diagnosed with an unspecified illness since July and had not appeared in public since then.
His colleague, Spanish actress Luisa Martín, paid tribute to José: "It breaks my heart to think that I will no longer hear your voice, but I will continue to speak to you forever. I love you so much José."
The actor has starred in several Spanish series including 'Amar es para siempre' (To love forever), as well as Vis a Vis: El Oasis, and Servir y proteger.
His last social media post in June showed him enjoying music at a festival in the Canary Islands.
In the post, the deceased appreciated his fans and shared his congratulations.
Among those paying tribute to de la Torre was Spanish actress and singer Lolita Flores: "How hard it is to accept that you are gone, even though I didn't know you. We only spent a few hours together, life is so unfair, you were beautiful both on the outside and inside."
The nature of the deceased's diagnosis has surprisingly not been made public, but the actor led an intense life both on television and in private, writes the Daily Mail network.
